Our story
The shop Merced drivers call first
Carlos Auto Repair is an independent repair shop on West 13th Street in Merced. We're a father-and-son operation, which means the person who looks at your car is the same person who explains what it needs and stands behind the work.
Our customers tell us the same two things over and over: our prices beat the other quotes they get, and we tell them the truth about what's wrong. We've caught problems that dealership service departments missed, and we've squeezed in last-minute jobs when someone needed their car back the same week.
We're open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Call ahead and we'll tell you honestly whether we can get to it.
- Independent, family-run shop

“Carlos was able to fix my water pump and let me know things that even Toyota looked over! Very decent pricing and I will be going here for my car fixes now!”
“They were done with my car at a reasonable time. And that's what I like about this shop — they are about getting the job done and done right. I wouldn't go anywhere else.”
